Important Announcement
On Wednesday March 11, 2020, Governor Mike Dunleavy declared a public health emergency in response to what is still an anticipated outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Alaska. While there have been no cases reported in Alaska to date, the Legislative Information Offices frequently serve members of the public that represent higher risk groups for the COVID-19 virus.

To support ongoing public health efforts, are taking the proactive step of closing rural LIOs to public in-person traffic. Assistance is only available at rural locations by phone or email beginning Thursday, March 12, 2020. For impacted constituents wishing to testify during a legislative hearing, please call the Juneau LIO at 907-465-4648 for further instruction.
